1. Kakola Gym Terms and Conditions

1.1. Cancellation Policy

The purchaser of a Kakola Gym membership has the right to cancel an order made through the seller's website free of charge within 14 days of the purchase date. The refund will be processed using the same payment method used by the consumer. However, the right to a refund does not apply if the membership has already been redeemed—for example, if it has been activated at the reception or if single-visit passes have been used. The purchaser must return the access tag upon cancellation of the membership.

2. TKå Oy Terms and Conditions

2.1. Registration for seasonal classes/courses is binding, and refunds are only possible with a medical certificate.

2.2. Registration for a minor dancer must be completed by a guardian. The parent or guardian is legally responsible for all payments.

2.3. Drop-in classes must be cancelled 20 hours in advance. If you fail to attend the class, the full price of the class will be charged. For uncancelled bookings, we will mark one session as used on the class card or charge a single-visit fee.

2.4. TKå Oy reserves the right to changes in schedules and instructors. In case of instructor illness, we primarily aim to provide a substitute.

2.5. The customer must ensure that contact details are up to date and that the email address is in regular use. If incorrect contact details are provided, the dance school is not responsible for missing information.

2.6. If the government imposes restrictions on the dance school's operations due to COVID-19 or another epidemic, classes will be moved to remote teaching.

2.7. Participants in classes are not insured by TKå Oy. Customers always participate in dance classes at their own risk.

3. Information on Payment Methods

Paytrail is a secure payment method for you. We hold a payment institution license granted by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Paytrail Otj (Business ID 2122839-7) and is part of the Nets family.

3.1. Paytrail payment service transfers your payment to the merchant. If Paytrail Oyj appears on your bank statement or credit card bill, we have mediated your payment. The online store acts as the marketer of products and services and the supplier of products to the customer. The online store handles all statutory and self-defined obligations related to the trade. If you wish to make a complaint or return a product, you should contact the online store from which the product was ordered directly. When an online store uses Paytrail's payment service, you can find the service description, for example, in the terms of delivery on their website.

3.2. Payment Service Provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as the implementer of the payment mediation service and the payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license. In case of complaints, we ask you to primarily contact the supplier of the product.

3.3. Bank Payments
Payment buttons for all Finnish banks are at your disposal. You can pay with buttons for Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-Bank, and Ålandsbanken. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on your statement; we forward your payment to the online merchant. From the online store, you will be directed directly to your own bank to complete the payment securely. When using the payment initiation service, you are bound by the following terms: Terms of Payment Initiation Service.

3.4. Credit Card Payments
You can pay in the online store with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, and Debit Mastercard. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on the card bill and forwards the credit card payment made by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments take place securely via a protected payment form, and credit card details are not stored in the online store's systems.

Kakola Gym Membership Terms

The following terms apply to the agreement between the person mentioned in the agreement (the member) and Kakola Gym. These terms are an essential part of the membership agreement.

1. Gym Terms
1.1. Persons under 16 years of age are not allowed to enter Kakola Gym without a parent.

2. Membership
2.1. The customer must be over 18 years old, or 16 years old with parental consent.
2.2. The customer must be in good health and have no clear health risks.
2.3. The customer must not have a current or previous ban from Kakola Gym, Hotel Kakola, or Kakola Spa.
2.4. The customer must not have previously violated the terms of Kakola Gym membership.
2.5. Persons under 18 can purchase a Kakola Gym monthly card with the consent of a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is legally responsible for all payments.
2.6. Kakola Gym uses access tags for customers. The access tag is intended for the customer's personal use only. The access tag may not be loaned or transferred to a third party. Upon termination of the right of use, the customer must destroy or return the access tag without delay.
2.7. The monthly card is for a fixed term and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. The monthly card renews automatically every 30 days via card charge unless the customer cancels the renewal before the start of the next billing period. There is no commitment period or notice period associated with the monthly card. The right of use ends at the end of the current period if the renewal is cancelled.
2.8. The monthly card is personal and cannot be transferred to another person, and no one other than the customer themselves may use it.

3. Facilities
3.1. There is camera surveillance in the gym facilities.
3.2. The gym may be closed or open with limited services or for a limited time due to holidays, maintenance work, or staffing limitations.
3.3. The terms and rules of conduct regarding the facilities also apply to TKå Oy's customers.

4. Discounts
4.1. Students can take advantage of the discounted price at any time when purchasing a monthly card. The discount is obtained by presenting a valid student card at the time of purchase. The discount is removed when the student status expires.
4.2. Student status must be confirmed annually at the Kakola Gym reception.
4.3. Persons aged 65 and over are offered a monthly card at a discounted price group.

5. Payments
5.1. The customer pays the price of the monthly card according to Kakola Gym's applicable prices.
5.2. The monthly card fee is charged at the time of purchase. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the payment card is valid and the charge is successful. The monthly card can be purchased as one-time payments or by enabling voluntary automatic billing. Automatic billing charges the card for the next month's card. Automatic billing can be disabled whenever desired.
5.3. If the customer has enabled voluntary automatic billing and the card charge fails on the due date, Kakola Gym has the right to block access until the payment is made.
5.4. If the customer has received a special discount and the discount ends, Kakola Gym has the right to charge the next monthly card at the time of purchase according to the normal price list.
5.5. The monthly card does not need to be paid for if it has been cancelled immediately in exceptional circumstances.
5.6. There is no notice period for the monthly card. The customer can cancel the automatic renewal at any time before the start of the next billing period.
5.7. Automatic billing can be cancelled via the Kakola Gym online store or on-site at the reception.
5.8. Kakola Gym reserves the right to change the prices and terms of the monthly card. Price changes will be notified to the customer at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
5.9. Kakola Gym has the right to block access or remove the monthly card immediately if the customer materially breaches the terms of the agreement.

6. Obligations of Kakola Gym Members and Guests
6.1. Customers agree to and must follow the safety rules and our operational rules during visits.
6.2. Customers may not use intoxicants or narcotics on the premises.
6.3. The member must notify Kakola Gym of changes to their contact/payment information. This applies to changes in name, address, email address, or phone number.
6.4. If any information that entitles the member to a discounted membership changes or ends, and as a result, the member is no longer entitled to a certain discount, notification must be made without delay.
6.5. Upon registration of membership, the member is required to visit the Kakola Gym reception. The member must show an ID, any certificates entitling them to a discount, and have a photo taken for the system.
6.6. The member is responsible for keeping the membership card carefully so that no one else can use it. Kakola Gym must be notified of any potential misuse as soon as possible.

7. Personal Injury
7.1. Customers always exercise at their own risk. Kakola Gym is not responsible for any injuries a member may sustain while visiting the gym facilities.
7.2. The member is required to use their own padlock when storing personal property in the locker room cabinets. If a member leaves items in a Kakola Gym locker after normal closing time, Kakola has the right to break the member's lock and remove the items. The member must retrieve the collected items within two weeks. The company is not responsible for the loss of such property nor during the said storage period.

8. Applicable Law

8.1. Finnish law applies to the membership agreement.

8.2. Disputes between the member and Kakola Gym shall always be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If this is not possible, either party may take the matter to court.
